About Mignonette

Mignonette opened its doors in November, 2002 when the proprietress returned to “the States” after having lived in Europe. She desired to be able to procure goods she had become accustomed to.

It was also a return to Providence as well since she had previously owned and operated another boutique - coincidently, on Wickenden Street.

Her original and ongoing vision for Mignonette was to create a magical and inspiring environment for both women and men. Mignonette was designed to provide a respite from the mundane of daily life and offer a European interlude. Mignonette is a place where one can be at home with elegance, romance and timeless beauty.
